Ah, finally, you’re awake.

Yeah, I start to learn React.js eventually

I have been working on cloud development for a while, there’s few chance to improve my skills on coding, what’s worse, I even start to forget how to code. So I decided to re-learn some basic skills, try to remember what I used to do as a backend developer, build some simple apps with decoupled frontend and backend. And yep, while I’m regaining my Spring Boot skills since I’ve almost completely forgot how to use it, I also start to learn React.js.

Why React.js?

Probably Vue.js is the most fashionable frontend framework in my country, it has plenty of tutorials (although most of them are trash written by people who don’t know what they are talking about) and third-party horrible libraries. But I still choose React.js, the simplest reason is that my company only allows React.js and Angular.js, and I don’t want to learn Angular.js because it’s a bit behind the times. Another reason is that React.js is quite popular overseas, maybe it would provide more opportunities for me to work abroad ^_^.

What’s the plan?

Well, I’m starting my first step with the official tutorial of React.js, Tic Tac Toe. It’s a simple game which teaches basic concept of React.js world. I will write down some key points I learned from this tutorial, and some of my thoughts, instead of just copying the code from the tutorial. These blogs are more like memorandums for myself, but I hope it would be helpful for someone else.
